I've got two early 50's Farmall Cub tractors that I've been fooling with just because I like machinery.  I also have restored a Ford 8N tractor.  I don't use the Cubs other than to pull a wagon now and then, and now because I have so many other projects,  would like to sell one, or both.  Both tractors were at home in Utah since new, the dry climate here has helped preserve them from rust and corrosion.  Both have good sheetmetal, and could be easily brought to like-new appearance.  They are currently Located in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Buyer will need to arrange transportation.   I may consider delivery for expenses if time and schedule allow.

This Cub had a freeze cracked head, block and lower radiator and steering casting.  The motor was completely diassembled and freeze cracks professionally welded.  A new head and lower casting were installed.
The crank was re-ground, and cylinders bored and fitted with new pistons & rings.  Governor rebuilt and valves lapped upon reassembly.
This cub has the hydraulic lift system, and new muffler and battery
including electric starting system.  Total time since overhaul, probably less than 3 hours!  All receipts for new parts, and machine work. Includes front and rear optional wheel weights and like new tires all around.  No rust!

I am asking $2,150.00 for this Cub

John-Lou-Bob, my second cub belonged to John, then Lou, now me!  3rd owner.  You could be 4th!  No hydraulics, but does have electric system and starter (no battery included)  It starts well enough with hand crank.  I don't know if/when any motor work has been done, but it seems to run just fine as is.
SOLD 9-6-03!
